Examinations :

ICCS course examinations are held four (4) times per year during the months of March, June, September and December at approved designated locations. These are usually at numerous authorised Centres. If you are not located near to an authorised examination centre, arrangements can be made through British Council Offices however the administration and invigilation costs (US$30 to 100 per examination) will be the responsibility of each student.

Exam Entry Cards are sent to each student through the website and your exam timetable will identify the time and place for each paper. For verification purposes, you will be required to bring the exam entry card and some form of identification such as your CPR card (Ikama) Driving Licence or Passport.

You have a number of chances to pass each examination. If you fail an exam the first time, this will be classed as a "referral" which means that you are required to re-sit the exam during the next exam session and pay an examination fee. A further failure at this stage then places you in the category of "reunit" which requires you to repeat the entire module after paying the course fees and examination fee for the module again.

You can apply to defer an examination for valid medical or compassionate reasons by sending your request on an on-line deferment form. A fee may be charged if you defer an examination.

Results are released 8 weeks after the last exam paper. They are posted confidentially on the programme website which you can access through you password.

A professional PC Competence Certificate will be awarded to students after passing the PC Competence module and an International Certificate in Computer Studies, along with a record of achievement will be awarded when all 5 modules have been successfully completed.
